Working on my Technology coursework, including research for bands, etc.

Well, guys, I’m very happy with what I’ve got – and I can’t help but boast to all of my friends and family that I do actually have it. So, rather than showing people each individual application with a screenshot, I thought I’d give you a quick tour of my Hackbook Pro with this 8 minute (approx.) screencast!

Mac OS X (Leopard)

Over the past few days, I’ve been installing Mac OS X Leopard onto my Dell Inspiron 1525 - which is now known as my “Hackintosh”. And if I’m brutally honest with you all… I absolutely adore it. For a hell of a long time now, I’ve been hearing about and seeing people migrate across to OS X and just fall in love with it on the first few clicks. But, of course, me only being young, and not having a full time job means that I can’t fork out £1000 for a Mac.

Of course, me being so adventurous and whatnot, I thought I’d give the ol’ Hackintosh route a go - and, as you can tell from this post, and my very recent blabbering on about how immense Mac is… it works! There were a few problems, but that really was all worth it. I now have perfect: Wi-Fi; sound; display; software; and so much more.

So far on my Hackintosh, I’ve got:
Coda
Skype
Adobe Photoshop CS4
Adium
Office for Mac (2008)
ScreenFlow
Google Chrome
Spotify

I’m absolutely over the moon with it! If you’d like to see more pictures and screenshots, or even a video, then feel free to get in touch with me.

1, 2... 1, 2, 3, 4

Just a quick post dedicated to Lisa on my Tumblr - I love you, babe. :)

1, 2… 1, 2, 3, 4
Give me more loving than I’ve ever had
Make me feel better when I’m feeling sad
Tell me I’m special even though I know I’m not
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Barely getting mad
I’m so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
Its as easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4
There’s only one thing
To Do
Three words
For you
(I love you) I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words
That’s what I’ll do
(I love you) I love you
Give me more loving from the very start
Piece me back together when I fall apart
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
You’re the best that I’ve had
And I’m so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
It’s easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4
There’s only one thing
To Do
Three words
For you
(I love you) I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words
That’s what I’ll do
(I love you) I love you
(I love you) I love you
You make it easy
It’s easy as 1 2 1 2 3 4
There’s only one thing
To Do
Three words
For you
(I love you) I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words
That’s what I’ll do
(I love you) I love you
(I love you) I love you

I love you
(I love you) I love you

OMG

How's your social life?

After generally thinking about the newly emerging world of social media and networking, I’ve realised that most people now don’t say anything such as, “I’ll give you a ring later!” - they now say, “I’ll inbox you on Facebook!” or “Tweet ya later.” In a sense, its amazing how the world is slowly advancing into technology; but on the other hand, its scary that we’re all sinking to a point where actual, real life communication could be uncommon. Scary shit.

I’ve not posted in a while due to one main reason: its my GCSE year, and I’ve been revising for mocks that last from 30th November to some other data in December. and during Christmas, I have to focus on the Saint Catherine’s website and finishing their CMS (content management system). As well as finishing it, some implementation and additional PHP code is also required - but it should be done very soon…

I do plan to update ny blog more often nowadays, but I might not due to the fact that I’m doing revision, coursework and whatever else.

System of a Down - “Chop Suey!” drum cover - now this is pretty damn immense!
